Video Analytics

Guardian’s Sentinel Security System ™ is a field- proven analytic video software that studies and identifies people within the camera field of vision and determines which are authorized to be inside said facility or perimeter. The system utilizes state of the art face recognition technologies, computer vision analysis and video content algorithms to analyze all images in the live video feeds. For any unauthorized individuals that are classified as potential threats an instant notification is delivered to the Users via a smartphone App and to the User’s security personnel. The notification includes a live feed of the camera enabling the User to assess the situation and determine the appropriate response plan of action.  Sentinel System ™ does this analysis and recognition while ignoring normal scene activity such as animals, moving plants, leaves, shadows or reflections.

User Configuration

Sentinel System ™ allows for the User to configure the settings and parameters of the video content analysis to personalize it to your needs. The User can determine and configure through the App; the times the system will be activated; identify specific persons of interests; persons to notify; type of notifications; determine specific property to safeguard and many more. The User can also create Regions of Interest (ROI) and Virtual lines within the scope of the camera vision to maximize the computing power and effectiveness of the system.

Voice Talk-Down Deterrent Option

Engage intruders safely with this proven crime prevention technique. Our Voice Talk-Down option allows the User to verbally interface with the intruder via specially designed speakers. The system can also emit pre-recorded messages such as “The police have been contacted and are on the way” or “You are trespassing in private property, desist immediately”. Pre-recorded messages can be included in a variety of languages.

Identify Authorized Personnel

Sentinel Security System ™ allows the User to identify and select the personnel that are authorized to be in the field of vision of any specific area and thus avoid unnecessary notices. Using state of the art face recognition techniques and/or specially designed biometric ID badges, the User can track employee movement and distinguish between authorized individuals (“Friend”) or non- authorized suspects (“Foe”). Adding, removing or limiting authorization for individuals can be done by the User at any moment through the PC software program or the smartphone app.

Behavior Analyzer

Sentinel Security System ™ video content algorithms can detect unusual and erratic behavioral patterns even from authorized personnel. The system is designed to identify acts such as slip and falls, loitering, violent altercations, extreme movement from employees, customers and patrons and notify the User while the event unfolds. The system can also detect whenever a standard object that belongs in the site (inventory, computers, art, furniture, etc.) is removed from the field of vision without proper authorization. Conversely if an object, such as an unattended bag, is left inside the field of vision it will automatically notify the User for a response.

Instant Notification

Sentinel Security System ™ instantly routes alerts to our specially designed App for any Android or iOS mobile device within seconds of detection of an unauthorized suspect. The User or the security personnel can see the camera live feed and assess the situation rapidly. Notification can simultaneously be sent to closest local law enforcement agents and private patrol services with detailed map of the location, assuring their quick arrival. Loss Prevention & Asset Protection

For most industries, theft from internal personnel is a very big problem. The Sentinel Security System ™ human resources management functions can prevent internal theft and avoid inventory shrinkage. The User can identify and select the warehouse personnel that are authorized to handle inventory and configure the system to alert the User whenever a non-authorized employee enters any inventory warehouse or area. The User can also configure and set the dates, and times that the warehouse personnel can access the stock inventory.

The system can also tag inventory and detect whenever inventory has been removed from the field of vision without proper authorization, even from and authorized individual. Sentinel System ™artificial intelligent functions can be used to tag, count and track items for sorting purposes and to alert the User whenever said items are taken without authorization.

Selective Data Storage

The Guardian System approach to video storage is innovative and groundbreaking. It is designed to maximize storage capacity and keep only the events worth recording. The software analyses each video frame determines any situation worthy of storage, such as emergencies, suspect activity, slip and falls, and any other situation according to the User specifications. Save on data storage and bandwidth consumption as it is dramatically less than that of conventional systems because video is streamed only when needed. Onboard and cloud based storage prevents the loss of stored video and the system continues to record events. Multiple storage options enable integrators to easily deploy systems anywhere including low/zero connectivity environments. The integrity of the recording is guaranteed by using a digital signal using protection algorism and cryptographic techniques.

Event Management

After reviewing an event, the User can dismiss it and/or mark it as a false positive if appropriate. Post incident reviews allow the User and the security personnel to keep track of all dismissed events ensuring an accurate account of viewed events. The system learns from any false positive alarms, further enhancing both the analytic capacity and the effectiveness of the system.

Scalability, Continuity and Green Stand Alone Power

Our systems are especially designed to handle and process data from multiple camera feeds at the same time no matter the amount. Our unique processors can scale to the required amount of camera feeds and “talk” to each other unifying and analyzing the data into one system. Our Intelligent Video Analytics software can be layered onto your existing surveillance system, adding the capability is an incremental enhancement, not a new installation.

Our systems are equipped with a backup battery power supply that last up to 24 continuous hours to avoid any interference with the system, thus increasing its efficiency. The system can also be equipped with remote area stand-alone power supply (RAPS), for locations that are not fitted with an electricity distribution system. The RAPS can use any green and renewable energy generation and energy storage techniques, such as solar, hydro or wind.

Forensic Search and Statistical Analysis

Our Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency functions can benefit the User from statistical analysis of human or vehicle traffic in specific areas and in distinct time frames. Retail chains and other businesses or organizations can better understand and predict traffic patterns to efficiently allocate resources, provide better customer care, and improve operational procedures. For all industries, the user can track employee movements and patterns to determine employee efficiency and productivity.

With this more advanced and robust security integrations option, our systems enables the User to search particular events or targets in a specified group of cameras within a distinct time frame. Video playback of the searches can be shown through easy to view thumbnails. The system also conducts people or vehicle counting and can generate comprehensive statistical reports for a specified group of cameras within a distinct time frame.
